Privacy policy
Kovee Technologies Inc. operates the Kovee platform. This policy explains what data we collect, how we use it, and what rights you have.
2. Minimum age
The Kovee service is reserved for people 18 years of age and older. Any data from minors will be deleted promptly if discovered.
3. Data we collect
Direct information: name, email address, password (hashed), property data, payment information (Stripe), contact messages. Automatic technical data: IP address, browser, pages visited, session duration, error logs.
4. How we use your data
We use your data to provide the service, send notifications, deliver support, power analytics, and meet legal obligations. We do not use your data for advertising and we never sell it to third parties.
5. Automated processing and artificial intelligence
Our AI module analyzes rental data to make recommendations. No decision with legal effects on you is made entirely automatically without the possibility of human review.
6. Data sharing
Sharing is limited to necessary processors: Stripe (payments), AWS and Vercel (hosting), Resend (transactional email), OpenRouter (AI gateway). OpenRouter routes requests to selected model providers without storing your data or using it to train models.
7. Hosting and international transfers
All data is hosted in Canada. The rare transfers to the United States are governed by contractual clauses that comply with applicable Canadian privacy laws.
8. Security
AES-256 encryption at rest and TLS 1.3 in transit. Restricted and logged access, two-factor authentication on all administrative accounts. Notification within 72 hours in case of an incident affecting your data.
9. Data retention
Your data is kept while your account is active. Complete deletion within 90 days after closure, except where legally required otherwise. Anonymized data may be kept for statistical purposes.
10. Your rights
Under applicable Canadian laws, you have the right to access your data, correct it, delete it, object to certain processing, request portability, and be informed of automated decisions. Send requests to hello@kovee.io. We respond within 30 days.
11. Cookies
We use three categories of cookies. Essential (always on): session, language preferences, security. Audience measurement (opt-in): anonymized statistics about site usage. Communication (opt-in): live chat. No advertising cookies, no third-party tracking. Your preferences can be changed at any time from the footer ("Manage cookies").
12. Changes
This policy may be updated. For significant changes, we notify you by email at least 14 days in advance.
